The Fox: The Darkness - Chapter 67

The leafs on the trees started to fall off as a growl was heard. Rose walked through the forest, hearing growls. She saw glowing red eyes, and walked toward them. Someone with a black cloak walked up to her, and smiled. The black haired girls' cloak flowed in the wind as she heard they're voice. "Somethings lurking in the darkness..." They whispered. She turned around swinging her scythe at them as they grabbed it. They're eyes glowed, staring into hers. They became curious, opening they're mouth, and licking they're lips.

"Well, hello... What's you're name?" They wondered.

"W-who are you?" Rose asked.

"I wanted to ask you the same thing..." They began, "...So, who are you?"

"I-I'm Rose.."

"Can I drink you're blood? They asked.

"Oh? U-umm... I- AHH!"

They were behind her as they grabbed her wrist, sinking they're teeth into her arm. Rose screamed as they covered her mouth. She trembled, dropping her scythe. They drank some of her blood, releasing the grip her wrist. They licked her wrist, putting they're mouth to her ear. "You're blood... It's so delicious~" They purred. Rose blushed brightly, feeling them let go of her wrist. She noticed the bite mark on it, gasping as they walked away from her. They turned around and smirked, winking as she hid her face in her hands. "Don't be embarrassed," She began as she licked her lips. "Even if the person you love isn't here, you have me." They added. Rose looked at her, feeling sweat stream down her face. "U-umm... I-I-" She was interrupted. "Don't be so nervous, Rose. You know you miss you're team." They said. "Y'know..." She unsheathes her sword and looks at it. "I have a scythe too." The black haired girl picked up her scythe in sniper-rifle form and puts it away. She laughed nervously, noticing her hands shake. The girl giggled, putting hers away.

"Hey, what's wrong?" She asked.

"I-It's just that... You remind me of someone..." Rose answered.

"I.... Remind you of someone?" She asked.

Rose picked up her scythe, hearing gunfire.

"There's no need for you to fight that thing you're friend is fighting." She said. "Stay here, and don't do anything to upset that wolf!"

Haruna fell to the ground, groaning as Krystal stretched. "Looks like I win again." She said. The blonde let out a defeated sigh, staring at the sky. Krystal helped her up, letting go of her hand as she heard gunfire. She noticed the giant bird, and gasped, looking at Krystal. "Is that a bird?!" She asked. "Yep." Krystal said. Before she could walk away, Krystal gave Haruna her gun back. "How'd you get that?" Haruna wondered. "No time to explain, for now, I think you might need to use it." Krystal replied. Haruna nodded, taking it as she ran. Krystal followed her and unsheathed her sword. The giant bird screeched, swooping in for the kill. Skye pulled the trigger, seeing someone onto the ground. They're sword transforms into a 8 ft. long, hammer as they jumped into the air, smashing it into the back of the bird. It let out a harsh cry, circling everyone. Skye reloaded her scythe, twirling it as she hit it onto the ground and saw a another bird. She grabbed it, jumping into the air as Krystal jumped onto the bird. Haruna stopped, seeing her gun transform into a shotgun gauntlet. She gasped, putting it on. She jumped into the air, landing onto the bird.

"I hope you're happy!" Haruna yelled.

The gauntlet shifted and clicked into place as she punched the birds back, seeing bullets. It screeched once again, flying toward the other bird. Haruna jumped off of it, landing onto the ground as she furrowed her brows. The girl pulled the trigger, flying off of the bird. Skye sliced the bird in half, falling onto the ground. The girl landed into the ground, seeing the bird disintegrate. "Who are you?" Haruna asked. "I'm Asaki." She said. "Is that a hammer?" The blonde asked. Asaki nods, looking at the bird.

"Come on, we have to-"

It disintegrates as Krystal landed onto the ground. "Krystal... This is amazing... How did you-" She interrupts her. "Our friend did a bit of tinkering, and fixed it, so it's good as new." Krystal said. "I hope you like it... Do you?" Haruna looked at it and smiled. "iI love it." She added. Asaki's hammer transformed into a sword as she sheathed it. Haruna ran to Skye, crouching next to her. "Haruna, what are you doing here?" She asked. Krystal's cat ear twitched, hearing growls.

"What do you hear?" Haruna asked.

A wolf slowly walked toward Haruna as Dark Shio appears. "Wow, I thought you couldn't fight anymore." She said. "What are you talking about?" Haruna asked. Skye got up, running to Shio. Dark Haruna grinned, seeing Dark Callie walk next to her. "Violet? What are you doing with them?" It didn't listen, unsheathing it's claws. Asaki unsheathed her sword, drawing it as she twirled it. She furrowed her brows as it transformed into a hammer. "Oh no, run!" Skye yelled. They ran, putting they're weapons away. "Well, that's great. We ran, why?" Asaki asked. "Because, they're too dangerous to mess with." Haruna replied. "We've fought them before, and now we don't know where Nicki is." She explained. "Despite the fact that they want to kill us, we've got no choice but to run and flee..." She trailed off.

"So, what now? Where do we go?" Asaki asked.

"Well..."

"Ooh, Haruna's weak!" Skye teased.

"I'M NOT WEAK!" Haruna yelled.

"Yes, you are!"

Haruna stops.

"Ok, Skye. You want me to prove that I'm not weak?" She asked, turning around "Come at me and fight me! Just you, and me! Right here, right now!" She scowled as she cracked her knuckles. "You want a piece of me?! Well, come at me!" Skye growled. All off them stop, looking at them. Haruna walks up to Skye, crossing her arms. Skye pushed her, furrowing her brows. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! You two are friends, remember?! You shouldn't be fighting!" Krystal exclaimed, feeling tears stream down her face. "I don't want to see you two fighting, or arguing," She began, "You two are friends!" She continued. "Ever since I met you," She looks at Haruna. "You... Were nice, and when I met you," She looks at Skye. "You were nice, too. And now, I don't want you to hurt eachother! I've seen enough of what anger can do to you!" She added. The blonde looked away and furrowed her brows. "She started it..." Haruna said, under her breath. Violet runs into Skye, falling onto the ground as Haruna looked at her. "Look who came back." Haruna said. "Hey! You're just lucky I didn't hurt you!" Violet yelled. "What?! You want me to hurt you?!" Skye asked. "Look at me, I'm Violet, I-" Haruna was cut off. "Did you even think that I'd be you're friend?" Skye asked. "ENOUGH!" Asaki shouted. "Krystal's right, you two need to not fight, or argue! You have enemies that almost killed you, right?! Well, we need to stick together." She said. Haruna had Callie on her mind, thinking about the others.

"So, do you want to tell us what's wrong, or not?" Asaki asked.

Haruna really didn't mind talking about her problems, but she had to tell them. "I... miss my teammates, including Rose... she was... the leader of our team. I loved them, but I loved her. I protected, wanted to, but my emotions always got in the way... I never wanted to hurt my friends, I never wanted to hurt anyone, it's just that... my anger controls me, I can't control it, or myself..." She trailed off. Those words hit Skye pretty hard. She never knew Haruna felt this way, knowing she couldn't control her anger, she didn't want to hurt her.

"Wow... I'm sorry for-" She was cut off. "No, no. It's ok." She knew Haruna was hurting inside, but she wanted answers. "Haruna, if you ever need someone to talk to, you can talk to me." Skye said in calm tone. The blonde refused, walking away. "No thanks, I just need to be alone.." She began to think about Callie, she gasped and placed her palm on her left cheek. She felt it warm and flustered just thinking about her. Haruna closed her eyes and smiled. Krystal ran to Haruna, placing her palm on her shoulder. "Wh-what?! What the... How long have I-" "Can we go to my house?" She asked. "You have a house?" Krystal nodded her head, yes, grabbing her hand.

Haruna's eyes widened as she felt her heart race. 'S-she's holding my hand?! Is she in to me?!' She had both Callie and Krystal on her mind as sweat streamed down her face. Krystal walked, smiling as Haruna followed her. Before she could say anything, Krystal giggled.

"Do you want to stay at my house?" She asked.

Haruna nodded, seeing it. "Wow... this is you're house? It's amazing..." She said. Krystal responded with. "Thanks, now, let's go in." Her and Haruna walked to the door as she unlocked it. They walked inside, looking around. Krystal let go of her hand, walking away. The blonde looked around, seeing a couch. The house was dimly lit, there was a table and chairs. She walked next to the couch, sitting down as Krystal walked to her and sat in her lap, facing her. "Krystal, what are you-" Krystal wrapped her arms around Haruna's neck, leaning toward her. She planted lips onto her neck, kissing it as Haruna wrapped her arms around her waist, letting out a soft moan. "N-no fair~" She moaned, feeling Krystal message her right breast. She rubbed her back, moaning louder. Krystal purred, moving her lip away from her neck. "You know you want me." She whispered. "You know you can't resist." Haruna tried to push her away, only to get pinned. Her cheeks became redder, keeping her eyes locked with hers. 'I-is she really in to me?!' As they're lips met, they kissed, getting hotter. Krystal's tongue explored Haruna's mouth, searching for it. It hid, feeling Krystal's wrap around her. She whipped it away, squirming as Krystal kept her still.

While it was an opened mouth kiss, they had to separate for breath. Krystal moved her lips away from Haruna's lips, panting as she lulled her tongue out. She panted as they're saliva kept them connected. They opened they're eyes, staring at eachother. "H-Haruna... that was.. amazing..." Krystal said, her voice hoarse and rough. "Why... did you... do that?" Haruna asked. Krystal blushed and smiled. Her cat ears stiffened, purring as Haruna raised an eyebrow. "I-it's just that you missed Callie and I was... jealous... I shouldn't have-" She was cut off as Haruna kissed her on the lips. "It's alright, now, don't tell anyone, ok?" Krystal nodded, nuzzling her face against hers.

SKYE'S HOUSE

The others arrived at Skye's house, walking inside. Asaki sat on the couch, setting her hammer aside. Violet sat on the couch next to her as Skye stood beside the door, seeing a black and purple wolf. She walked into the house, letting it inside. The wolf sat down beside Violet, wagging it's tail as she pet it. "Skye? What's wrong?" The lilac-haired girl asked. She knew Skye was concerned, and wanted to know why. Skye didn't respond, smelling the scent of blood. "I smell..." She sniffs. "Blood..." Skye whispered. "Where is Rose?" Violet asked. "I don't know. I haven't seen her ever since her and the others disbanded. "B-but why?!" Skye turns her head. "...Haruna, Shio, and Calle went they're separate ways, and never spoke to eachother ever again..." Skye trailed off. "There's got to be a reason wh-" She was cut off. "No there doesn't!" She scowled. "Sometimes bad things just happen, Violet!"

Violet's eyes widened, staring at the floor as Asaki placed her palm on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Rose will be ok." She said. Violet felt a single tear run down her face, falling onto the floor. She didn't say anything, and avoided adding more fuel to the conversation. She moved her head upward and gritted her teeth. "Skye... I-I... I'm sorry... I miss her..." She said, barely getting the words out.


"It's... ok." Skye replied, turning her head. "Unfortuantely, you need to stay here. You can no longer fight, you have severe wounds, you'll get hurt even more, if you're not careful." She explained. "...So, I don't think you'll be leaving anytime soon, until they heal." She pushes her sunglasses up. "But they've already healed!" Violet yelled.

"I understand that want to protect you're sister, but... she can take care of herself." Skye said. "Which is why... wait, where's Haruna and Krystal?" She turns around and grabs her scythe. "I'm gonna go look around, in th meanime, watch over Violet, please." Asaki nodded, looking at her. "I think I'm gonna rest, now." The lilac haired girl said, getting up. She went upstairs, turning to a door. She opened it and walked insde, seeing a bed. Violet looked around, walking to it and sitting down on it.
